A moving image essay featuring Tresarrett Dry Kiln in North Cornwall decades after its closure in 2002.
The pools and the dry rooms are veiled by woodland, and many lifeforms have made it their home. It is moist and damp. 
This kiln, operating a whole century, was a destination for China Clay to reach from the extraction point, a mine on a moor.
From a creamy slurry to a powdered substance for whitening, brightening and fulfilling a desire for Ultra White paper. Dehydration as Purification. White and Pure.
