Lockdown Covid19 so far
a month has passed since the lockdown started, I have been having technical problems. Broadband has been down and continues to be unreliable. My old iMac has not been able to run the new Premier Pro requirements, and I really miss the campus right now. I have been filming on my iPhone.
I am not able to finish my 2nd MA year project as intended before the lockdown. I haven't had the tech equipment. No cameras, no studio, no editing room. And I don’t want to patch the final scenes with what I have available.
There is now no possibility in exhibiting this piece on 6 screens, on the floor in a circle. What I have to do is edit what I have on one screen. Which makes me feel disheartened. I will only do this for the assessment, and as soon as Covid19 restrictions are over, I would want to finish it, simultanieously with the 3rd year project.

Continuing developing work and methods in lockdown mode. From an (im)migrants (Denmark, Poland) perspective, because that is how I have always seen and comprehended in a no-man(d)'s land. "Isolation" is the name of this no-man(d)'s land.
An (im)migrant is born when it uproots. In most violent cases it is a controlled, pushed, a forced pull,as when with forcing plants to grow it is artificially hastened. This gesture becomes infinitive; in every new one, is staged.
The covid19 isolation scene has no civil liberties. Im-migrants have no civil liberties. They survive. The first commandment is to stay, to manage, to remain in this new space. Survive.
Survive from latin Supervivere: super- in addition vivere- live
To SUPERLIVE: to stay, to continue, to remain, to manage "in addition" to live. In danish survive is overleve - over live.

The perception of a home for a migrant is distorted. Fictious.
Forced isolation. Stay home, is to stay away. There is no difference in home and away. Stay is numbness. Stay still, put.

In lockdown im trying to avoid the horizon. The horizon is not isolation state.

Numbness
Lie on a trampoline in a slight wiggling move and with a slow motion iPhone camera pointing up towards
if I didn’t hysterically move the iPhone it would just be a slowness. Numbness is hysterical. I've put on the "slowing down life position" control button, and in this controlled space I’m throwing myself uncontrollably to shake off the mindfog. And it’s still. It’s slightly still this hand in the sky but if you knew how uncontrollably the other hand was whilst filming if you saw that it it would be a shouting mess. Numbness is a distorted, loud mess. ANd it can look pretty.
You just see a still hand. "Keep calm and Carry on". The polite stiff upper lip.
